We’re looking for someone who enjoys building developer tools and infrastructure automation products.

You’ll work on the core of Semaphore UI: backend services, APIs, integrations, and the architecture that powers infrastructure automation for users worldwide.

This is a role for someone who enjoys ownership, autonomy, and solving engineering problems without waiting for perfectly detailed specifications. You’ll work directly with the founder and product team and have a significant influence on the technical direction of both the product and the company.

What we’re looking for:

• strong Go experience and solid knowledge of Go idioms and patterns;
• experience designing and building backend systems;
• experience with Linux and DevOps tooling;
• familiarity with infrastructure automation concepts and tools;
• comfort working with ambiguous problems and autonomous decision-making;
• interest in building products, not just implementing tickets.

Nice to have:

• experience with Ansible, Terraform/OpenTofu, or similar infrastructure tools;
• experience with Docker and Kubernetes;
• experience working on developer tools or infrastructure products;
• experience contributing to open-source projects;
• familiarity with Vue.js.
